POWER of hiking

The STORY project aims to provide women with an opportunity to experience the numerous benefits of hiking on mental and physical wellbeing. Hiking is a great way to keep the body active, which helps to reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and obesity. Additionally, hiking is known to have a positive impact on mental health by reducing stress, boosting self-confidence, and alleviating anxiety and depression symptoms.certification and evaluation as the final steps, this hike was a journey of a lifetime for participating women.

The project’s objectives are to encourage women with fewer opportunities to go hiking in their free time, enabling them to experience the benefits of hiking and improving their health and wellbeing. Additionally, the STORY project combines hiking with stative learning activities, such as watching documentaries, to boost the learning process. This approach is intended to foster a stronger connection between individuals and the surrounding environment, encouraging a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
